At the library you can usually find high priced test prep books and check them out for FREE! Make copies of your resources if you need to mark them up. Libraries often host free prep course events.

2. Visit the Official GMAT site:  If you want to get a real feel for what test day will be like, download the official GMATPrep software (Download Free GMATPrep® Software). The GMAT practice software consists of two full length computer adaptive tests. These two tests are very close to the real exam.

You can also get first hand accounts of what worked and didn’t work for some users. You’d be surprised to find out how helpful strangers are. Check out reliable messages boards like Quora and Reddit.
